Our story
Held first. Then sent.
Two things are true before anything else. You are held, and you are sent. HELD & SENT is a South African clothing label built around that order, for training and for the rest of the week.
Held
Held comes first. Before the session, before the work, before anything you manage to do with the day. It is the part that does not move when the week does, and it does not depend on whether you showed up.
Most of the time that is quiet. It is a line you remember on the drive home, or a reference printed where nobody else will read it. The clothing is built to match: almost nothing on the front, the weight of it at the back, carried rather than announced.
Sent
Sent is the other half, and it is active. It puts the ordinary things in the frame: the shift, the training block, the people who share your week. Purpose is not a place you arrive at once everything else is sorted; it is what you are already standing in.
So the garments are made to be used. Sweated in, washed, worn thin at the cuff and worn again. A piece that only looks right on the first day is not much use to anyone who has been sent somewhere.
The line
Held by Christ. Sent with purpose.
Held is what is already settled. Sent is what it asks of Monday. The order matters: you are not working in order to be held; you are held, and that is what frees you to go. Everything here comes out of those two sentences, including the decision to keep them small on the garment and let the wearer carry the rest.
What it is for
Two halves of one wardrobe, meant to be worn together.
Training
Cut to move and then to be forgotten about. A raglan sleeve so the arm goes overhead without the body following. Flatlock seams through the underarm. A short with a split hem that stays out of the way at pace.
Everyday
Heavier, wider, garment-washed. An oversized tee cut square at the shoulder, a fleece deep enough to layer over all of it, a cap with a brim that breaks in quickly. Things to pull on and leave on.
Men and women, in the same language and the same washed blacks. The Form Bra and Form Legging coordinate exactly. The tee and the hoodie are cut for anyone, XS to XXL.

Seven pieces: four for training, three for the rest of the week. None of them shout. Look at them and decide whether they say the thing you would want to carry.
